Utopia & Cults
There is a harmony between all opposites. The yin & yang symbol illustrates this. If one side of the opposite goes too far the other side will bring it back & vice versa. For instance, if good goes too far, evil will bring it back. If evil goes too far, good will bring it back. Neither good nor evil can ever be squashed out. Ever! Therefore, abandon all opposites & instead focus on harmony & peace.
The world is perfect; its you that needs to change. Utopia is the pursuit of perfection or goodness in the eyes of man which is mankinds ego. When you set out to change perfection, all youre creating is trouble. Cult leaders actually believe in utopia that is why they are so persuasive & dangerous. It works for awhile like an illicit drug but after awhile hell sits in. Often times the cult leaders get distraught because they cant make utopia happen. So instead of giving up the dream & getting back to reality, theyll offer utopia in the next life. Then, everybody is killed or commits suicide. A few days later youll hear about it on the news.
Many realize cults are crazy. However, on a milder scale we all buy into utopia. We falsely believe if only I had this, my life would be great. Here are a few of the utopias we hold: technology, science, savior, leaders, pleasure, no bug bites, air condition, sleep, endless food, health care, etc. Its easy when someone points out others utopia but its hard when its yours. You want to defend it dont you? I know you do. All these milder forms of utopia lead to disaster too. Im not saying dont use things like science & technology. Im saying dont use them to avoid reality.
In short avoid all opposites & instead seek peace. The world is perfect; its you that needs to change. Cult leaders buy into utopia & sell it to others. The pursuit of utopia leads to hell. See the pattern & avoid it.
